学校の様子

           Today I will talk about Oguronomori Junior Highschool. There are three topics I would like to discuss. The gymnasium, Classroom Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and out school song “二十四番風.”

           Our school’s gymnasium is very special. It is equipped with many air conditioners, which keep our students cool during the hot summer months. The sound quality of the gymnasium is also excellent. It is good for hosting many music events, such as “Music Outreach,” which was held last month. The non-profit organization “HEART Global,” is an organization that leads music performance workshops. The students in our school enjoyed not only their performances, but also participated in the dancing and singing. The third-year students gave us a special performance after just one day of being trained the members of Music Outreach. In the future I look forward to seeing events like this in our gymnasium.

           Next, I would like to talk about our state-of-the-art ICT tools that we have in our classrooms. Each classroom is equipped with a projector that is attached to the blackboard. Teachers use this to present their lessons to the students. It has proven to be effective for both teachers and students.

           Finally, I would like to talk about or school song. The song was composed by Yumi Kimura, known for her compositions on Studio Ghibli films. When I listen to the song I feel relaxed and understand that I am a member of the school.
