６年生の外国科の授業で、フィジーの小学生に日本の生活や文化を紹介するビデオを作成しました。本来であればフィジーの小学生にビデオレターとして送る予定でしたが、２月にフィジーを襲った台風で多大な被害が出てしまい、送ることができませんでした。

　そこで、フィジー大使館にそのビデを送ったところ、そのビデオレターを見られた大使館より、お礼のメールが送られてきました。そのメールの内容を英語のまま掲載いたします。

"The video is a good compilation of some famous tourist attractions in Japan, including Japanese Culture, Food, and Clothes. Japanese food culture has a number of outstanding features, which also consider the spirit of hospitality as introduced by the students. Introducing such Japanese culture and studies make a valuable contribution to the image of Japan abroad. Great video."

 　フィジーの小学生との交流は、来年度に持ち越しになってしましましたが、今後も積極的に交流を図っていきたいと思います。
